Well, it has now been almost 3 months, since the '78-'79 Reunion and I have just now, found time to sign this guest book . . . Sign of the times . . . too fast. Michelle (Sister), I did tell you about the 78-79 combined reunion that was coming up, at least 6 months in advance . . . you just forgot . . . Sign of the times . . . HA, HA. Truly a fantastic and memorable reunion, THANKS to Randy Cates and all on the committee. |

So sorry I was not able to attend. The only excuse I have is knowing nothing about it. Which I guess would be a pretty good excuse. To those who spent the "three months calling and e-mailimg" I see by the guest list and photos you did manage to invite those you wanted in attendance. Good job with that ladies. Also excellent choice of location Randy (who were you?) most of the very few people I recognize in the photos were quite old and fat. Did anyone get a chance to check out the Northside reunion? |

| Well I was a bit disappointed to read about some of those who were not quite satisfied with this year's reunion or our efforts to find everyone. I sit here thinking about the several hours, (3 weekends plus) I spent with only 3 other Class of 79ers as we wrote down every e-mail address listed in the Southside alumni book. And then those names that had no e-mail available, calling EVERYONE who offered a phone number to give a "personal" invite. If classmate information is not out there, what more can be done? Anyway, on a more positive note, it was good to hear that there are people out there that are ready to jump on the next reunion and make it soooooo much better. I'm sure there will be those of us who would like to take a break from all the organizing. To those 78ers and 79ers who put this together..... Great job!! My personal observations of the evening led me to believe that the majority were having a blast. | |||

I thought the reunion was perfect ! Everyone worked hard and gave alot of their personal time to pull this event together. You cant make everyone happy all the time. Instead of complaining, look at the bright side. Their were some of our classmates that were unable to attend because of other commitments or they are no longer with us. Those of us that were able to see our old buddies, cheers :) The event was PRICELESS !!!!! |

| I had a wonderful time and it was worth $100 to see old friends. I wish more had attended but certainly we all have busy lives. I appreciate the effort that was made to put the reunion together. It had to be difficult to locate over 1000 people after 30 years, I can't even imagine. To those that organized our event, please know that I thank you for everything. | Can you say "UNORGANIZED" ???..i am disappointed in the reunion not enough from the organizers trying to reach everyone in both classes. had i known beforehand what i know now i would have never spent $100 for two $5.00 meals and 3 bud lites. By the end of the evening you couldnt even get to the bar for a drink because everyone was gathered in front of the bar...sounds like our class...a bunch of unorganized drunks :D maybe by the time the 50th reunion rolls around...someone will take the time to organize that one a little better. I DID enjoy visiting with about 10 people that were NOT there for the alcohol. | |||
